Bridport Quilt WalkAbout
I have been teaching Patchwork & Quilting for 25 years & to mark the event I want to exhibit the quilts my students & locals have made over the years. The event called 'The Quilt WalkAbout" has been taken from the Amish idea that they hold in the spring called The Airing of the Quilts.

Taken from the Amish ‘Airing of the Quilts’ where they will put Quilts out over their balconies & decorate the towns. It makes a fantastic spectacle of colour . You may remember a few we did it in Broadwindsor 2005, 2007, 2009 & 2011!
Exhibition around the town.
Celebrating 25 Years of teaching & business I am hoping for as many as possible will have a quilt or small wall hanging (or 2 or more!) to display on their premises or outside (Weather Pending)
Do you have a Quilt or wall hanging we can display? Have you made a quilt with me or are you local.. in the last 25 years? I would love to see it / them again! Let me know if you mind it being displayed outside on our launch date. Get in touch with me beccasquilts@gmail.com, I just need to know When you made it, techniques or style you did & if it can have some tabs on the back for hanging that would be great. Our venues will be Chapel in the Garden, United reform Church, The Arts Center Foyer, Independent businesses around the town such as Smith & Smith, South Street Sally, Animal House, The Music Shop, The Book Shop and more.. So we will try & theme the Quilts to the shop.
